Hey everybody..

I know I haven't posted in a while but I have been lurking and reading the

messages everyday. I have been doing really well and maintaining my weight

(even through all the holiday temptations) I have even lost two pounds

since Thanksgiving. I am happy at 143. I would love to get to 130 but I

don't think my body wants to. I have been sort of leveling out. I have

been working alot so I haven't been to the gym as much as I would like but I

make sure I stay active wether it is walking each night or doing one of my

excercise DVD's. I wouldn't trade my size 4 for any food out there.

Anyway since I have decided to give my employee's time off for the

holidays and work as much myself as possible I headed to the Power Zone this

morning to get some ready to drink protein (so I can keep the head hunger at

bay) I ran into one of the members of my support group (I belong to a large

support group) She is a cashier at the store I bought my protein from. She

was drinking a 16 oz. Diet Pepsi and eating a Snickers bar as she proceeded

to tell me she don't know why she her weight loss stopped. She then told me

she was happy with the 70 pounds she lost in 14 months. She then said she

excercises. I almost said that is why you haven't gained it back but I kept

my mouth shut. I then told her I have lost over 150 pounds and I'm not even

a year out yet. She was saying that she can eat everything. I said that I

don't know what my limits are and I don't want to know. I want this surgery

to work and I won't call myself a total success til I have kept it off for 5

years or longer. It is a daily struggle to overcome a food addiction and I

promised myself the food wont win. I have found too many worthwile

subsitutes out there but she wouldnt listen to me.

Namaste,

Mar
