Guest guest
So sorry to confuse you! I am not saying she has brachy. what I'm saying is that I dont' think the measurement you're talking about is the cepahalic index. I think it is the cranial vault asymmetry index - like Molly said. At least according to the terms most people use. I think she has plagio as you say, and that since you're ortho suggest the number should be increasing, basically it means the two diagonals would be more equal with a higher number. Please email me again, or maybe molly can explain it better, if you're still freaked out. I really don't think you have anything to worry about. It is just that different orthos provide the data in different forms so when somebody says 95% it not always the same thing. take care. -christine mom to sydney > > > > > > Hello all, > > > Well apparently I'm clueless as to what the measurements mean. > Can > > > anyone tell me what number measures the asymmetry of the head? > > > Honestly, our orthotist acts like she wants the cephalic index > at 95%, > > > so I've thought all along the cephalic index measured asymmetry. > My > > > daughters has went from 82 to 85 while in the band.
