Guest guest
Cathy, when you go for your psych eval, be sure to make it with an actual psychiatrist (an MD,) not a psychologist. If you ask them for advice on your psych meds like Paxil after surgery, they will either know, or can access information from the pharmaceutical company about how it should be administered after gastric by-pass. One thing is for certain: Do NOT cut out Paxil " cold turkey " for any reason. There is something called " Paxil Cessation Syndrome " that multiplies depression and suicidal thoughts exponentially. Be absolutely certain to have your MD determine how to take the Paxil after surgery. --Cat > > > > Kathy, I take 50mg of Paxil and I have had no problems > > with taking meds at all. Guest guest
Marilyn I take alparzolam, aka. Xanax, not for depression but to ease pain on the nerve of the bladder.(I have interstitial cystis, bladder condition that is very painful and keep you going to the potty about 60 times a day) I also can use it to help me ease into sleep. That was because I was also on Effoxor for quitting smoking. I just finished my last pill (on the downgrade system) yesterday and today I feel like a human for the first 4 months. The xanax really helped me with the effoxor, some times in ponged me out of my brains and I felt I was crawling the walls. But it was the only thing that helped me quit. I'd tried everything else and the doctor said lets try this. I'll be staying on the xanax for occasional use for pain. Which I'm hoping since I've been on the bladder medication. Elmiron, over 4 months now I want need as much. well now to my question, did your list say anything about xanas on it? Guest guest
Cathy, I was told no Advil ever again. I don't know if anyone else was told the same. I've switched to Tylenol since. By the way I took a look at your pics. You won't regret taking them. In a few months you'll look back and say wow.
