SSI for children

Hi all,

I hope everyone is finding a way to enjoy this wonderful holiday

season. has a wonderful occupational therapist who reads

him an inspirational thought everytime he goes. This has acted as a

means of encouragement to him as he struggles to recover and cope

with this disease.

I am curious if anyone who has a child with chiari has applied for

SSI for them? Nick's chiari symptoms continue to affect every aspect

of his young life. I have been considering applying for disability

for him so that we could afford to put him in some programs that

would not only improve his life but give him some activities that he

can enjoy given his disability. Is this a reasonable request?
