Jackie,

I guess they wouldn't have been so hurt if it had been any other time

than the holidays. She did stick up for the kids. And she put him

out of her house, she said she was ashamed of him. She's a mess over

it. She's 71 and didn't need that crap either. It's funny. I get

along better with her now than when I was her DIL. He always blamed

me for everything, now she sees where the problem was. She says she

feels like she needs to make it up to the kids. I told her it wasn't

in her place. It was his. Thank you for saying I'm a great mom. I

just wish I could take away their hurt, ya know. Nothing hurts a

mother worse than not being able to protect her kids. I promised my

kids as long as I'm alive, He'll never have the opportunity to do it

again to them.
