I don't believe Kirsty's post will help anyone in questioning a " physical

cause " . I myself have never heard of or seen any " physical cause " for BPD.

I truly believe there is no physical cause.

The one med, Lithium, is a mood stabilizer, hence helping to balance the

chemicals in her brain, slows down irrational behavior. The other, Epilim,

isn't listed in drugs research.

Most of these meds prescribed work on the brain chemistry. Hope this helps.
