Guest guest
Thanks for your responses Dana, The tics are pretty constant, 10 per minute(no kidding!), although there are times when he is engrossed in Nintendo or motor activity, that he doesn't tic for minutes at a time. His tics are very similiar to what I hear refered to as " tardive dyskinesia " a side effect of neuroleptic drugs, although he has never been on any. He has pretty obvious facial grimacing, nose rubbing, eye rubbing, and occasional shoulder shrugging and throat clearing. I have no support from his pdocs or even those we consult with...all graduates from the " must be genetic " school of medicine. ;( thanks a bunch, Diane > > > I have to take my ds - 10 years old, HFA and Tourettes for second > > visit to a neurologist. > > > What are the tics? Guest guest
, Did you ever find any successful treatment for you child? Does he only tic when he has or had strept? I inquired about PANDA testing about four years ago and neuro, genetisists, immuno, were clueless. I noticed you are in GA too, how did you have your child diagnosed? TIA, Diane PS Feel free to e-mail me privately too... > I have one who tics when he has strep- he was found to have PANDAS. > -GA > [ ] Re: Dana - OT Drugs for tourettes?Need advice > > > Thanks for your responses Dana,

Most of those are related to yeast for my son [except we don't do the shoulder shrugging here], do you have a good yeast protocol?
