Guest guest
When your dagter gets out of detention it will be very important to ahve a very black and white contract in place. Include things like curfew and consequences. Remember consequences ahve to be ones you will follow through with, no point threatening becasue she will very quickly figure that out. These kids seem to do well in detention probably becasue of the structure, making choices isn't easy for thme and theya re very easily influenced by peers. I would ahve things in the contract like goes to school, time to be home after school homework, bedtimes, weekends, chores...how she speaks to you. Might need to ahve a mediator help write it, is there someone at the facility who helps with pre release prep? I'm not from USA so hlep with resources others have suggested, find a support group...if nothing else is availalbe try alanon.. good luck, we are with you through it all, keep wriitng it really helps.. Jean...thank goodness all is well with baby, makes it easier....I can just see Emerson rocking this baby MAybe you will be able to start back working for you now that she is deleivered, let her start to get those boys to school, etc....remember she chose to ahve this baby.... And I hoe she goes for child support....why they think these guys should be off the hook....mine goes down that path all the time and then whines when he doesn't spontaneously pay....but she won't set up a plan with him through the courts.....wants it both ways... Enjoy the day everyone May there be peace on earth and may it begin with me and with each one of us Elaine --------------------------------- Make free worldwide PC-to-PC calls. Try the new Yahoo!
