My doctor is leaving.....help

When I went to my last appointment (Dec. 5) I noticed on the board

that the other doctor that works with my doctor is leaving the first

of January. I just found out today that my doctor is also leaving.

They both are going to Tennessee, but to different areas. When I left

my appointment, they told me to call back in February and make an

appointment for March, but now what do I do if my doctor isn't there?

I live in VA. and he is going to Kingsport TN, whcih is about 85-90

miles away. I am far enough out now that I won't have to go back that

often and probably my next visit it would be a 6 month and then the

next a year out. My sister-in-law is having her surgery next Friday

and my doctor is her doctor too, and so she will have to travel for

her first few visits if she continues to see him, which this is

actually the closest still (We live out in the boonies).

Did any of you lose a doctor after surgery? What did you do?

I am now 5 months out (geez doesn't seem that long) and down 90 lbs.
