I don't call that stupid. It's just an accident. I feel sorry for the pain and discomfort you are going through. I would still recommend to call your bariatric surgeon/doctor and ask what he thinks. Mine warned about emergency rooms because they may not understand your internal life! He always said call him regardless. He may want to do some test. You see your original stomach is not visible in the normal way, nor are your new connections or the internal sutures. You can have serious damage that an emergency doctor many not see. Damages can be life threatening. Like entangles intestines that can stop circulation in some part of it and have some part die off. This is very dangerous and can cause death. The upward motion can have shifted something or torn some of the connections. Call your doctor! This will be covered through your employer because it was work related accident. At least you will have peace of mind. I hope you recover quickly, those fish will be calling your name come spring time and you need to be able 'go git um' lol.
