Lin tell Sue we are here for her also. She's family too. Has she

tried having her pcp advocate for her to have wls. Sometimes, state

insurance will cover something if its medical necessary when at other

times they normally do not.

And Judy,,,,WTG...You insire them, whatever it takes to be healthy.

I have looked into that and they will not cover any WLS for any reason and I

think it really stinks. Our governor thought that he could save the state

millions of dollars by cutting it out and if you look at Medicare covering

it now, I think he made on stupid mistake because Medicare says that it is

saving them money because of less health care costs because it is

preventative.

I am thinking very seriously about contacting my state senator and seeing if

I can get something going there again.

Well that's the pits. Contacting him/her would be a start. I'm sure

there is many more folks that need wls there. Heck you get the email

and I'll send him one too for all it'd be worth. He doesn't have to

know where I live. Maybe that's something we all could do. Who knows?

I will definitely do that. I will more than likely do it after the first of

the year when I know that he will be there in his office and may even

forward it my senator and will let you know when I write it because I feel

really passionate about this.

I'm serious Lin, anything I can do to help, I will. Just a

suggestion, when you get the info and you're ready to do it. Post it

for all to see so if they choose to email them on the issue of wls
