Guest guest
Try armour thyroid. nne _____ From: JLJukoski@... [mailto:JLJukoski@...] Sent: Saturday, October 23, 2004 10:31 PM Subject: Re: [ ] synthetic thyroid hormone I am a mom of two mercury-poisoned boys, though I appear to not be mercury-poisoned myself. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism about 15 years ago and have been taking synthroid or levoxyl since then. During my almost 6 years of breastfeeding my children, I have had 60-70 serious episodes of mastitis (extreme fever and flu symptoms, requiring antibiotics). A University of land high-risk OB determined (while I was pregnant with #2) that the cause of my mastitis was an improperly monitored thyroid level. My thyroid condition was then closely monitored by an endocrinologist. This did result in a much lower frequency of mastitis, though it still occured. I am still breastfeeding my 3 year old and plan to conceive within a year. I am interested in switching to a natural thyroid hormone. Is this something I should consider? I definitely will breastfeed my next baby. Also, I have a deficiency of Immunoglobulin A, which my immunologist says is a big factor in my recurrent mastitis. What can I do to prevent mastitis, as far as supplements, etc.? Thanks so much for your help! Jukoski

So tired of having to deal with yet another doctor who is contemptuous of someone finding out information on the net. Why is it so hard to get doctors to prescribe Armour? I am praying I do not run into this problem? Is it really very hard to get treated with Armour? Thanks Vicki
Guest guest
, You do realize that mercury affects the thyroid, right?
