I have gone to the Juvenile Intake officer at the courts to attempt to file a

Chins petition to get a judge to court order her to go but they said I have

enough info and as a parent of a juvenile, I had the right to say she needed to

go BUT I must have a letter from the last therapist stating that she refused.

I was told that the Hippa Laws won't allow them to disclose that she ever had

therapy as well as in their field, they are suppose to maintain a trusting

relationship or something like that.

If this happened to me, I would go back before the judge and tell him what

they said and ask the judge for a subpeona to get the records. Your daughter

is a minor and you have a right. Another suggestion, if you are switching

doctors, you can sign a release form for the records to go the new doctor.

Then you could get the records from the new one for court.
