10 Isocorts, and have the shakes on Armour.

Wow, I apologize for my answer. I agree with Janie. 10 IsoCorts is

25 mg of cortisol and that is a lot. I think backing down on the

Armour is the best suggestion. When I got my thyroid dose up over 4

grains, no amount of cortisol got rid of the shakes and feeling of

not being right. I think if 25 mg of cortisol is not helping then

maybe thyroid is too high.

You can treat the adrenals just one week ahead of starting thyroid.

Take 1 to 2 IsoCort tablets every 4 hours starting when you get up

in the morning. Or 1/2 to 3/4 roughly of Nutri+Meds adrenal every 4

hours. You can also look for an adrenal extract at your local health

store, but, then the dose will not be known.

Typical adrenal support is 10 to 20 mg total cortiosne a day taken

in 4 equal doses. This can also be prescription Prednisone (5-7 mg a

day), prescription Cortef (10 to 20 mg a day) or some other

synthetic.

Oh, and I forgot. You can take 1 teaspoon of licorice root in a tea

4 times a day 4 hours apart. Make sure it is not deglycerrized. This

is roughly equal to 15 to 20 mg of cortisone.
