Guest guest
I have never experienced that. I do know that I had a few complications and was in longer than expected, and it took me about two days to have a bowel movement after I first started having gas. The first day I had it so bad it hurt, then was able to release it and my wife said it stunk pretty bad and then was able to have a really strong bowel movement and the nurses told me that was entirely normal. I hope you are feeling better and will be able to come home tomorrow and start your new life. Lin 422-338-250 Lhsh@... American by birth, Saved by the grace of God. Guest guest
I had no problems going after surgery. They made me drink a whole bottle of the nastiest tasting stuff the night before surgery. I got about 3/4 of it down and then started gagging & had to quit. I've never pooped so much in my life! Finally about 3 days post op it eased up. There for a while I was afraid to fart if I wasn't on the toilet. LOL! W 380/262/160 Lin Hunnicutt wrote: > I have never experienced that. Guest guest
Hi Lorraine, I had the runs for the first 2 weeks..and then watery diarrhea to excess for several days. It was to the point where if I coughed or sneezed I had to run to the BR. Finally went to ER. I'm almost 5 weeks out, and now my stools are normal : ) Hugs, mary D. Guest guest
Hi, I know my next suggestion or thought might sound stupid, because I am pre-op and " don't know everything " yet. Hasn't the hospital heard of Immodium??? Or are you " supposed to " have the screaming s--ts for weeks? Ouchie on the tushy! Am I naive? Anyone that is here that knows the ropes completely....would love to know about this too. Thanks for posting and good luck, Hugs, Cathy 305 (weight keeps fluctuating)/and waiting to get a surgery date! > > Should be out the hospital tommorow I hope but the only thing is the > past 2 days I been having the runs bad did any of u have this?
