Just called me again this time to say she realizes she can never take him

back, that she could never trust him and she cannot have him around the kids if

he does drugs. That she could never leave them with him alone because if he

did drugs while he was in charge of them, they would be in harm's way.

Is it me or is she just confused and this is normal fluctuating when a

relationship ends?

It's the normal fluctuation (as normal as possible with a BP) on top of

post-partum emotions as she adjusts back to her pre-pregnancy state. It'll be

like this for awhile. While we know he's the scum of the earth and definitely

unworthy of one nano-second of emotion, to her, he's everything. AND she JUST

had his baby. All you can do is listen, say " uh-huh, huh-uh, I see " and other

non-committal responses. If it were me, I would limit the number of calls I

would take from her per day and the amount of time I would spend with her on

each call. But that's just me.

I think it's normal on top of her Post partum.
