Alba in Dallas Question about Bowel Movement problem and chiari.. Hello, Just wondering if anyone else could add insight or have the same experience. I have chiari no syrinx, operated on in April 2002. When I have a bowel movement I have increased tinlging in my extremities espesically the legs. sometimes momentary numbness down my arms and back but suddenly comes back but the tingling is the most noticable. It happens when I am straining. I notice this the most. Does anyone else thinks this is related to chiari?
