This is something I would like to do. I am here in RI and unless I have a

closing scheduled (I would usually know 2 weeks in advance and can change it

if need be with a bit of notice), I am pretty open. So, Debbie, ,

Carol and any others who are nearby, let us here from you so we can get this

" show on the road " !!!

I am going to be out of town July 1-9 and may be doing things with my

husband while the kids are all at camp from July 22 to the end of the first

week of August. Being a secretarial type, I am curious about the time and

place... I guess I've seen too many good intentions end up not happening for

a lack of nailing down the details.

Hi, sorry I haven't responded sooner. I'm not sure, I have to check with

my dad and when he wants to go. He is out of town now, but should know in

a few days. I'll keep you posted.

Helen, does this mean you are going to RI July 1-9? Or not available those

dates to go.

Or are you saying that you are available to go from July 22 on?

Helen,

This is good as hubby and I have left most of July open. The national

parks sound great. We have a motor home and have been traveling a lot. In

fact,

I think we will be away in June more than we are home.

To others who have asked, still have grandson. Today is his last day here

w/me at work. HIs mom is coming up today, here tomorrow night. Hubby and I are

taking him to a local race track tomorrow nite. His mom will be here Sunday.

She is staying thru next week, and will head back to Kentucky the 10th.

Hubby and I are leaving for the Pocono races on the 8th, so that is when I will

see my grandson off. It's been hectic, and a much needed rest when he goes,

but I know I will miss him terribly when he's gone.

On a light note to all......Hubby and I helped move into her new

apartment last night!

It is absolutely adorable, big rooms and she is so excited. She has been

overwhelmed at the support of people buying her new things for the apt. Her

father's new g/f even took her out and bought her a new dinette set and some

kitchen items. She didn't have to do that, but it was nice. My daughter's own

father hasn't even come through with anything yet, I won't hold my breathe with

him. Hubby and I returned to the house after having moved her and I stood in

the doorway of her empty room and finally cried. Bittersweet tears. I am so

happy for her, she's grown so much in the past year. I called her after a

while last night and asked if she would be home tonight or not! She just

laughed

and said I love you. I would ask her that every night while she was living

home as she spent loads of time at her b/f's.

And she called me first thing this morning when she got up. She was so giddy

and excited yesterday, they wound up staying up til 4 am this morning. She

has off today and is unpacking. So, another chapter in our life. Am hoping

and praying they are able to manage this move.

Everyone have a non-chaotic and happy weekend.

Debbie,

Those days we will be having a family vacation in Michigan. We are not

available for RI on July 1-9, but are available for sure July 10-21, and

possibly also from July 22 on.

Sorry to be so confusing! While our kids go to camp, my husband and I have a

history of taking the time to do something totally fun and relaxing, just

the two of us. It sure is nice! We started this after Liz went to her RTC.

National Parks have been high on the list of activities!

DebbieL,

This is so wonderful. Wait a minute, I need another

Kleenex.

Ok, I'm fine now. The idea of everyone being happy

for her--what more could one want? I take it she's

not too far away from you. Looks like you might get

your cake and eat it too.

Bless you for all you've been through, all you've done

to help all of us. You cry, Sweetie! You deserve

every tear. Enjoy them all. Here, have a Kleenex.

Now I need a new box...

Hugs and more,

Deborah

Seems my sisters have put in another plan for the summer and we are meeting in

NC instead of RI. Being the youngest I always hear about the plans instead of

being involved in the planning. Some things never change, guess I will always

be the little one........ Anyways I won't be up North for awhile and will miss
