Hi, all! I am 3 weeks since surgery, and healing nicely. I am experiencing a lot

of neck and head stiffness and rightly so considering the nature of this

surgery. I am wondering if the rest of you are having the same, and how long

does it take for that to subside some?? Am doing head and neck exercises daily

and my range of head motion is getting further slowly. I think sometimes my

expectations are a little high and expect to be fit as a fiddle pronto!!LOL

Otherwise, all symptoms have disappeared, what a treat aside from the pain down

the left arm. Have any of you had that?? I read that symptoms can take their

sweet time to go by the wayside. I have a syrinx and could it be that that is

still pushing on the nerves causing the shooting pain down the arm??

Thanks for any input-----------------Anne

Hi Anne. I had surgery in August, and it took about 5 weeks for the chronic

neck pain & stiffness to go away, but even now if I tend to over due it I

get really sore & stiff.

Not quite as bad as before, but not a good feeling either! :0)
