Guest guest
I had to take that all spring. I was courious when you mentioned the Parkinson symptoms so I looked on the web site on where I get my meds and that is listed as a possible side affect. Have you considered phenergan? That works well for me but may make you a little sleepy. Tracey in VA
Guest guest
I had a reaction to Reglan when I had my lap band placed 10 yrs ago. I watched as the anesthetist shot it in my IV port, but didnt realize until later, when I looked it up that thats what caused my reaction: all of a sudden I couldnt inhale...everyone was saying.. " take a breath, ..and get her intubated " . Its supposed to be given slow IV push. When I had my band removed a year later, I told everyone at least twice to give the Reglan slow, that was scarey and I didnt want to repeat it.! chesapeakeavon@... wrote: Anyone else have an allergic reaction to Reglan? I had Parkinsons symptoms and my bestfriend had a rash and delusions.I couldn't control my facial muscles or my tongue for about 6 hours. I was drooling and grinding my teeth uncontrollably. I am curious how commen it is. It is an anti nasea pill given post op. DO NOT TAKE IT WITH TYLENOL. IT IS NOT RECOMENDED. Wish I knew! Thank you! Guest guest
It was HELL ! I was so miserable, I wanted to die! I went in the ambulance and was dropped off in the waiting room of the ER.I waited 6 hoursthere. I flipped the wheelchair because I was unable to control my body. People were all staring at me and I was drooling and grinding my teeth so loud others could her it. I even chipped a tooth! My face became distorted and I was scared to death. I didn't know what was causing it and was fearful I would be like that forever. of course people were comming and going in the ER being treated for things like sprained ankles and flu symptoms, eating and drinking, talking on cellphones, laughing, etc. I was so scared and upset! I called an attorney. He made a great point, the hospital didn't cause my pain but they were not responsible in triaging me. Because I was also vomiting! And could have chocked and died on it in the bathroom. He said any judge will give all the leeway in the world for ERs to decide who gets seen first. So I had no case. I have nightmares and get jaw pain now. All it took was a shot of benedrl! And I was beter in one minute! I just wanted others to know how serious Reglan can be if you are alleric or take it with tylenol. Which is what I did. It was SCARY! Thanks for your support!! : ) Lap VG 8/1/05 286/190/145 " I'm hungry "

Guest guest
Tracey, I had Dr Spencer too. maybe we could meet at the support group one month. I know I am still in the " honeymoon " stage, but I am having a great time and do not regret it for a minute. I am already feeling soo much better than I have in years. Guest guest
Hi , What a nightmare experience. A night in ER makes you really question what the Hell is going on with our health care system. I'm sorry you had such a rough time baby. Hugs, D. chesapeakeavon@... wrote: It was HELL !
