Barb, We are on round 2 with DMSA and I noticed black specs in my

dd's stool plus she had a very large stool. Her challenge indicated

very high lead and high tin. Could the black be arsenic also or

something else?

we have been getting black specs as well. Once with NO stool, but had

come out the rump, still in a diaper and easy to tell this. He had a

VERY metalic smell. I always wondered what metal would smell like, no

doubt in my mind this was a metal smell. Hard to explain. I'm

currently seeing the black specs about once every 4 days. We've had

about 5 so far. I think next time it happens I'm collecting it to

have it analyzed. I will be getting a stool test and advise and

promise to post if and when we figure it out.
