How Many Days In The Hospital?

My husband has decided that he really wants to be down here with me

when I have surgery on 1/15/07, but I have no idea how long most

people stay in the hospital after RNY. I've heard 2 days, but I don't

know if that counts the date of surgery or 2 days additional after

that day. I guess that means is one night or two spent in the hospital

the usual? Thanks for any help you can give. (Tried to call the office

today, but they're closed for the holiday, and we'd like to figure out

what days to get his flights on.)
