Guest guest
You can stir it when everything's combined to eliminate most of the carbonation. --Cat > > Sounds good...but the carbonation would KILL ME! > Am I the only one that can not do carbonation??? > > > ~ >

Guest guest
I was able to drink carbonation at about 7 months, maybe sooner. I choose not to. Michigan's 10 cent return fee on carbonated beverages motivates me because I don't maintain returnables anymore as they cluter everywhere. I just through them out or recycle them. Guest guest
I'm stricky a water drinker now and forever, with my IC (silly bladder disease) I could have pure pear juice or blueberry juice and then I thought , no way water for me and its been that way for quite a while, I guese you just get use to it. Guest guest
Another way you could change it to suit your needs is to substitute sugar-free lemonade or orangeade for the 7-Up. --Cat In GastricBypass-LOSERS , " Mike " wrote: > > I was able to drink carbonation at about 7 months, maybe sooner. Guest guest
Now that would be good because I have taken sips of carbonated beverages, but choose not to drink them and this would be a great alternative. Guest guest
My surgeon said carbonated drinks were off limits forever! They can strech your pouch. The way someone put it to me was Fill a ziploc sandwich bag with soda and shake it up. See how the bag expands? That's what it does to your pouch. Hope this helps some people. in CA
Guest guest
I'll ask but that sounds like a pantload. Your body is not as elastic as a plastic baggy. Also, air can escape your stomach unless you're no longer belching I guess. Mine said no carbonated bevs for 6-12 months because " you'll feel like you're having a heart attack " . That kept me away from even tasting them for 7 months. I have since tasted them and I think drank one. No big deal just not something that really gets me going anymore. > > My surgeon said carbonated drinks were off limits forever! They can > strech your pouch. Guest guest
My Dr. told me the same thing as 's. Not about the ziplock thing, but that the carbonation can stretch out the pouch. I was told hands off for life. Liz B. > > > > My surgeon said carbonated drinks were off limits forever! They can > > strech your pouch. Guest guest
I heard about the gum because if you swallowed it, it could get stuck. But I don't swallow my gum so I do chew gum. Haven't heard about the popcorn. Take Care, in CA __________________________________________________
Guest guest
I am just now being able to eat popcorn and Aldi's fit and active is to die for. It is really good and most of the kernels pop after two minutes of popping and it makes an awesome snack. Lin 422-338-250 Lhsh@... American by birth, Saved by the grace of God. Guest guest
That's hilarious. I eat gum ALL THE TIME. I have loads of popcorn. It's a whole grain and fat free kettle corn is fantastic. > > I too, was told not to ever drink carbonated drinks again...I was also > told not to eat popcorn or gum. Guest guest
I have popcorn every now and then, as for the gum, I ate gum for a while to keep me from wanting anything else... then I heard people discuss the proceedure for getting the gum back if you swallow, NO THANKS! Of course, that was not enough as I forgot over time, then one day, I damn near inhalled my gum... SCARED THE HELL OUT OF ME! No gum. Mike websculpt@...> wrote: That's hilarious. Guest guest
I just bought a 20 pack of packs of Trident White from Costco. I plan on chewing it whenever I've had too much garlic or onions. If anyone doesn't want there gum let me know and I'll give you my address to send it. Do people really swallow their gum that often? > > > > I too, was told not to ever drink carbonated drinks again...I was > also > > told not to eat popcorn or gum.
