Guest guest
Hi , It sounds like things went really well for you. I understand that about using the morphine button liberally, because my wife said that I did the very same thing and it kind of not puts you in the real world, but you definitely do what you have to do. Lhsh@... American by birth, Saved by the grace of God. Surgery went fine (I hope) Sending this from my hospital via my cell phone... I was in recovery by 10am but due to room issues, I didn't get to my room til 6pm. I had a signicant amount of pain in my back at first but very little discomfort now. I am using the morphine liberally to keep ahead of it. Besides, it makes the dry mouth more bearable. The dry mouth sucks! I talked to my best friend from high school last night. We just recently got in contact after 12 years. She had gbp 10 years ago. She lost 240 pounds but is still aT 220. She feels great about that but thinks she could have been more successful if more information and support had been available back then. We are both looking forward to our 20th reunion next summer. Talking to her made me realize just how amazing you guys are. I have enjoyed your postings over the last 5 months and knew exactly what to expect and what to buy to help prepare for this journey. Most importantly, you guys helped me prepare mentally for this journey to a new life. I was only very slightly nervous and it's because of you all. Hopefully the next few days will go as smoothly as today (but I'm not counting on it.) and I'll be seeing results in no time. Guest guest
Glad to hear all went well, . Sounds very encouraging. You're " paying it forward " by telling those of us who haven't had surgery yet what to expect. You're right - what a GREAT resource this is! --Cat > > Sending this from my hospital via my cell phone... > > I was in recovery by 10am but due to room issues, I didn't get to my room til 6pm.
