Guest guest
First, I want to get the surgery over and done with--and heal well. Have the courage to start to accept my body, not just later on after surgery and some weight loss--but right now (at 305 lbs). To have the discipline and knowledge that I will need to start my life anew. To keep learning and growing from all of you before surgery and after. To eventually be a source of strength to anyone who finds that they MUST have this surgery, and guide them or answer a question that will make them feel more at ease. To come from a life of pain and isolation to having a life that involves, more friends and more activities and things that make me happy. Wow! I had to stop and think about this! But all of it is true. Love, Cathy 305/and waiting for a surgery date > > What are your WLS related goals for 2007? > > MIne: > > Develop unconditional body acceptance > Maintain my weight at a healthy level > Maintain a consistent exercise/fitness program > Undergo skin reduction surgeries on my upper arms, tummy and necklift > Learn to love my body for the years of self abuse I inflicted. > > Robyn >
Guest guest
Mine are to stay on track with the diet, and to lose weight steadily. I am just starting this journey, but I feel really positive about my 26 pounds start.
