Guest guest
If I'm feeling better and over the flu enough I'll be going to a New Year's Party at a local karaoke bar with some close friends and family. Somehow I enjoy watching and laughing at people that has been drinking and think they can sing. It can be a bad combination. lol > > So what is everybody going to do for New Years?? > > Mike T >
Guest guest
I thought I would want to go out and make a big ta-do since the weight loss and I am feeling so much better about myself, but I am finding that I am not up for that either. So, I will finish organizing my house today and tomorrow getting ready for my busy life to begin once again on Tuesday. Probably hang out with my kids and play games and watch movies. I know, exciting WoooHooo! haha My kids are awesome though. So no loss. Happy New Year everyone!!!! Be safe PLEASE! Guest guest
My son and his fiance is having a cookout at their house. They just got engaged last week so it is kind of an engagement party. No booze, just food, fireworks and good clean fun. Guest guest
Here's our plan. My friend Bev, who thinks MIke is young but hot, is coming over. My hubs Doug, myself, and Bev are going to grill steaks, lobster tails, baked potatoes. (remember I've not had my surgey yet) Then we are going to watch a movie or two. Depending on how Bev can handle. She is a correction officer with the prision here (which means Mike, she has and knows how to use hand cuffs) ROFLMAO All kidding aside, if she'd get the lap band or by pass, she would be a total knock out, brain, long blond hair, have to see what she does next year, this year she is says he is going to give it one more college try. But she is my biggest cheerleader and support beside my husband. My hunny has bought a bottle of Asti instead of champagen(if I could drink I would have smacked the shi% out of him but he likes it. so we will do a toast, them with the Asti me with the water. MOre than likely before midnight as Bev has to go to work the next day. Then hunny bunny and I will cuddly and watch the ball drop. Not very excited but I live in a quiet twon anyway, and I don't won't to be on the roads with the drunks. Got a surgical date I want to make. Guest guest
My husband and I are heading out east (North Fork of Long Island, NY) to where there's a great local seafood restaurant. We are meeting my brother and his girlfriend there for dinner at 7 p.m. tonight. The restaurant said they were closing at 9 p.m., so they're just having a regular menu, no jacked up price menu. After that, I don't know what we're doing. Hubby and I don't drink, so going to a bar, is probably out of the question. I guess we'll have to just see! I'm looking forward to it though. We haven't gone out for New Year's since it turned 2000! I still (New Yorker that I am) HAVE to see the ball drop at Times Square! It's not New Year's if I don't watch that in anticipation. Of course, it's on TV, but it doesn't matter! Does anyone know if it is it true that Dick won't be hosting his show this year? He did last year and he had been recovering from a stroke! I wish everyone here a Happy New Year! Please drive safe, and don't drink too much! I think that 2007 is the most anticipated year of my life! For all those having surgery in the New Year, I wish you success, love and hugs from me! I'll be there with you. Happy New Year my dear friends, Love, Cathy a butterfly in training > > So what is everybody going to do for New Years?? > > Mike T >
Guest guest
I think we are just staying home and will watch the ball drop and maybe have a drink of champagne to bring the new year in and I am hoping to get in some good football this afternoon. Guest guest
We are going to a Fancy Pants Ball at a LA Hotel. It is a formal shin- dig. I'm so looking forward to it. It is kind of out last party before we are off to Texas on Thursday. I got a beautiful elegant dress. I love it ...it makes me look so little! ~ > > So what is everybody going to do for New Years?? > > Mike T >
Guest guest
Greetings All -=- Our family had gone over to Las Vegas where we have 2 older kids living. The grandkids and my 11 year olds wanted a white New Years, so we packed up the motorhome and drove 160 miles to Cedar City where they have a foot of snow on the ground and it is 11 degrees. The campground is vacant and a beautiful field of white in front of me at this time. We'll spend a couple of days here and then head back to Las Vegas and onto California to start the new year. A blessed and peaceful New Year to All and may all losers ROCK and RULE !! mr. KIM on the Left LAP RNY - 11/22/06 348/299/170 New Years.... So what is everybody going to do for New Years?? Guest guest
I have to agree with that. Ever since Sue and I have known each other, we have stayed in. When we were dating, we went out for an early dinner and then went to the grocery store and got munchies and went back to my apartment and just stayed in and watched tv the entire evening. It beats being out on the road with all of those drunks that are usually out there. Lin 422-338-250 Lhsh@... American by birth, Saved by the grace of God. Re: New Years.... Guest guest
Cathy, I thought I heard that Dick & Seacrest were hosting it together, but who knows, you'll just have to watch and see. It is only 4:50pm here in CA and I am so ready for bed!! Need;ess to say, I am staying in. I am a single mom and I feel like I don't have any business out running around with a bunch of crazy folks! I don't like to take chances. Guest guest
The New Year has already came and gone in this corner of the world. We went to an informal gathering at a friend house. Didnt go as well as planed. The host was showing us ome of his dance moves he stumbled into the food table trying to catch hi balance he fell forward and hit his head on the wall. He cut his head and knocked himself out. We got him taken care of shortly before midnight. We toasted in the New Year (me with non alcoholic champeigne) Around 12:30 a friend that had too much to drink decided that she wanted to drive home which started a fight with her husband. She stormed off and we took her husband home. Well she just called me saying she was lost begging me to come get her but she has no idea where she is. I have no problem going to get her but I don't know the neighborhood at all. 3am in a german residental neighborhood... Guest guest
that Steelers game was great! I love seeing teams getting knocked out of the playoffs, like my 9ers did to the Broncos!
