Guest guest
, that is great! I am so happy that you have her support, love, and clothes LOL! Nothing like it in the world! Best wishes, Shauna W akwalker13@...> wrote: My mother gave me 2 Splenda cookbooks. There are some really good looking recipes in them. Hopefully, I won't butcher everything I try and I'll post recipes for everyone. She also gave me gift cards so that I'll be able to afford some new clothes in a few months. She's lost a bit of weight (from a L/XL to a S/M) and is going to let me raid her closet for t-shirts and jeans when I go back home. It seems kind of strange getting clothes from a 60 year old woman but she has yet to acknowledge her age and dresses as young as I do. In a way that's bad, but it's going to work out for me. More than anything else, the best gift is that I have a mother that is understanding and supportive of the surgery. Because of that, I haven't had to deal with a lot of the negativity that some people have and I'm really thankful for that. in MI __________________________________________________
Guest guest
in MI, the Splenda cook books sound great. Are the recipes mostly baked goods and sweets or does it have a bit of everything? I'm glad your mom has clothes you can wear - lisamathis

Guest guest
I ordered three books from amazon.com, and one is a cookbook....it helps give you variety in proteins and all kinds of neat stuff in there. I hope the books come today, because UPS left a " tried to deliver but you weren't there " note on my door. So I should have them today. It should be interesting, because I don't know how to cook.
