Guest guest
I got a phone call from my son in law today. He told me that our daughter is kicking him out. She wants to lead a promiscuous lifestyle, and doesn't want to be limited by marriage. The fact that they have a little boy (3 years old) doesn't seem to matter. Back in October or so she had taken him to court for abuse and got a restraining order. I saw what she wrote, and it was just rantings on official paper. At that point, she kicked him out and he said he would never set foot there again. Well, a few weeks later they kissed and made up, and she had the court order rescinded. Now she just says she wants him out because she wants to be " free " . When she got the R.O., she got signed up for a class through the welfare dept, so she is taking a secretarial skills course, and she is supposed to start looking for a job soon. Through this she met other guys, and that is what is getting her going. I am sure I will get a phone call from our daughter today, and she will play victim and tell us how bad her situation is. By the way, she also has gallstones, and they plan to do surgery on her. The interesting is a few weeks ago she was taken to the emergency room, and when they didn't get to her soon enough she just stormed out of there and left. Her rages seem to be pretty real at this point. I guess she will tell us how ill she is. Her husband tells us that the gallstones give her pain once in a while, every few weeks, when she eats very high in fat foods. Oh, well, it should be interesting in the next week. I guess our line will be the same as usual: - Oh, really? That's intersting, L. Sorry, but I can't give you a ride. Can you walk or take the bus? Hmmm.... That's about what my input is limited to on the phone. At least our younger kids are doing well. I just went on a long bike ride with them as part of their PE for homeschooling, and they were fun! I'm sorry for our grandkid. says he will bring him over for us to see him. That will be good. Helen
