Hmm diet soda. Woopee! I love the snickers bar. NICE TOUCH

I don't see this as a success until I'm dead and my bearers can lift

me on their shoulders without a crane.

Mar, I too am shocked by people like this... I prayed for years to

have a way to get the surgery, and I am GRATEFUL God provided a way to

have it paid for in full. I am disgusted by these sorts of people who

have the surgery and then bamm they are back to eating the same

things. I am like you in that I will not even find out what I can

handle and not handle... I am sticking to the program. It makes me

mad to hear about these kinds of people when there are plenty of

people dying to have the surgery, and I am sure they would not waste

the opportunity on a stupid diet soda and candy bar! lisamathis

I know exactly what you mean. My cousin had this surgery 6 years ago

over the 4th of July, 2 weeks after the surgery I watched her eat a

whole package of the sugarless cookies. She was visiting me, and we

had bought some sugarless stuff, and she opened the package ate two,

then put the package away. It was rather late, so I went on to bed,

the next morning I saw the entire empty package in the garbage. I

went through everything with her from going to the doctorr to get

qualified, to appointment, and through surgery. I had high hopes for

her. Six years later she looks no different then she did the day of

her surgery.

She did get down to size 14 and looked really good, now I believe she

is back up to a 24 or 26. Now 9 other cousins in my family have had

this surgery and I guess we've all lerned a lesson from this cousin.

I am now due to have my surgery the 10th of Jan and I will never

forget the high hopes for her and the disappointment I had when I saw

how she was treating this wonderful tool, that we had worked so hard

for her to get.

I guess now I need to take a chapter out of my own book, but I know

how not to treat it.
