Hello everyone! I'm a happy puppy, waggin' my tail :o) I went to my

doc app today expecting a fight, and she wrote me a script for Armour

without batting an eye. She said, no problem, I write prescriptions

for that all the time. I was shocked and thrilled at the same time. I

did a crash course in endocrinology the past two weeks in preparation

for this visit, and didn't have to use it. She couldn't order the

tests I wanted because the lab in that clinic doesn't do them, but she

said we'll go by how I'm feeling rather than what the tests

say...wow...never expected to hear all that. I go back in two weeks

for a follow-up. This is amazing, after all I've read I didn't expect

it to be so easy. I live in a small isolated town and there aren't a

lot of resources here. Fortunately the one I landed with was all I needed.

I'll come back and post any progress I have after I start dosing

tomorrow. Progress or questions I should say :o)

Have a great day EVERYONE!!! Kat

Kat, I'm waging my tail with you!! WOW!! I'm amazed to read that she

said she prescribes it all the time.

If this doc fits my criteria, I want to include her in my GOOD DOCS

folder in the FILES section: They have to be happily willing to

prescribe Armour, willing to let folks dose by symptoms rather than

strictly going by the TSH, and test the free's if needed.

Hey all, thanks for the good hearted relies! I'm in SUCH a good mood

right now :o) For those interested in where I live, I live at the

northern edge of California right on the coast in a little town called

Crescent City (20 miles from Oregon border). It's an isolated area

between the beach and the Redwoods, and not a lot of opportunity here

(for those intersted in moving here *s*), and by all means not much in

the way of doctors and medical resources. If someone here needs

surgery the hospital is too small to accomodate much more then

emergencies, an operation would require driving 80 miles to the next

big town. There are a couple of docs here that prescribe Armour, but

they don't take my insurance and I couldn't afford to pay out of

pocket. One is Dr Kasper, which I found on a website under a search

link for Armour-wise docs. My doc is actually a PA at the county

clinic, which is one of two places that take my insurance. I hit the

doctor lotto when I was assigned to her!

I want to thank you ALL for being here for me to learn from. This is

an awesome group and I have already recomended it to several people in

search of the truth.

Getting ready to go pick up my Armour from the Pharmacy!

Thanks again, Kat

Kat:

You live in a beautiful place. My niece and her family have lived

there for over ten years and I have visited. Yes, it is a quaint

little town with the bare necessities at hand!! Their house burned

to the ground a week ago. My niece said thank goodness for Internet

shopping to replace alot of immediate neccesities.

I know my grandniece has been being treated for thyroid there. I

haven't talked to them about it recently as far as results, but it is

good to know that you have what sounds like a TOP DOC in your area.
