Joan, this is all so true. I often think of this when I trip over the dog

and I apologize profusely but if I trip over Don's feet,I usually say

something like, Move your Feet " . This story is surely something to think

about.

I'm with Marta on everybody wanting to be thin! I happen to have a really

high metabolism and am 5'10 and about 120lbs. A lot of people think that just

because I am that tall and that skinny, I'm anorexic adn don't eat. I have

been accused of being anorexic many times. :) I just laugh at them and go

home and eat my usual snack... a box of macaroni and cheese... read that, a

box. :)

Well, I'd have to instruct the kids as Joe (husband) is computer challenged! But I know what you mean, Suzanne. It did happen on a list I was on yonks ago. The gentleman graduated and his children did notify someone on the list and they passed it on.

So, it is just me, or do you all feel similar??

That has also crossed my mind. People come and go on lists and many people just assume they decided to unsub or they just don't think about it. A few years ago I met a woman on a very active list and I soon discovered she actually lived about a half hour from me. We became friends and started doing things together. A year later she had a recurrence of cancer and sadly passed away. I had become close with her family and was visiting her up until the end. When she died, I notified the list. One person even contacted me and came down from NY for her funeral service. I am glad I was able to tell everyone.

Good idea, Suzi. Marilyn would let you all know if something happened to me. She has in the past when I wasn't doing too good.

Peace, love, laughter

Suzi,

Funny you should mention that as I was just talking about something similar with my son. Since I am really all he has besides my father, I doubt his concerns would be to contact my group to let them know something happened.

The only way I would not be here was if I were to expire or my computer died as I cannot buy another.

I guess somewhere down the road something would maybe spark a rememberance and someone would say " I wonder what ever happened with Toni"? :)

Not a morbid thing at all. It is something that could well happen.

Anyway, for now I am here :)

Wishing you and all a wonderful and blessed day

Hugs,

Toni

however, I for one have gotten to where I feel very close to many of

you, (even though I have no idea what you all look like ... hint, pics

in the photo album - can send them to me to put in) and the thought

occured to me.. what if something happened to one of you, God forbid,

but you come to that point in your life where it is time for you to (as

I like to put it) graduate.......... and move on to a higher plane.. in

other words you pass on... None of us here would know why we hadn't

heard from you in awhile... So I guess what I'm asking, is if you have

someone in your life, could you ask them to let us know... I for one

was thinking that not only would this inform us, but I'm sure that this

group would probably reminise and also send messages to that person,

which would probably help comfort them to know someone they cared so

much for was remembered by so many. Words can be a wonderful comfort

in time of grief.

So, it is just me, or do you all feel similar??

Great idea Suzi. Many of you have been here for quite some time and we

have become like an extended family. I also like the idea of seeing

what everyone of you looks like. Nice to be able to put a face to a

name. Makes it a little more real.

I am certain that my wife would let everyone know of my whereabouts

should my whereabouts become unknown.
