Guest guest
Hi All! Just a quick question. I have an appointment at the NY clinic for a diagnositc workup. I've been to so many inept doctors around here that I'd like to get the full scoop of what happenning with me. However, I don't immediately want surgery. I understand that surgery will most likely be reccomended but I want to wait until after I finish grad school and have more support in my life. Do you think it will be a problem to go there to for a workup and not immediately jump into surgery? My rational for going now is that I'd like to become an existing patient in case an emergency comes up or a need for surgery arises, I'll be an existing patient and can get in with the NY guys faster than if I was a new patient. What do you think? Should I write a letter to the clinic explaining my intentions? I don't want to offend anyone by meeting with a neurosurgeon without the intention of having surgery right away. Thanks, Jen
