Guest guest Posted November 3, 2002 Report Share Posted November 3, 2002 I've struggled with my weight all my life 6 years ago I lost 130 lbs and Ive managed to keep it off ... unfortunately I think a big part of staying in shape is exercising but since I was diagnosed I've had to cut back on the exercise (my foot would go numb While on the machine at the gym and my head would feel full) I think like everything moderation is key...If you have a tendency to eat a lot make sure what your eating is filling and not so high in calories like whole grains, fruit, etc., (never diet... if you have a craving go for it otherwise you'll eat everything else in sight and still not feel satisfied!) Stay away from processed foods that way you can eat more and still consume the same amount of calories...Also keep active as much as you can, every little bit helps, you need to lift weights, try walking or swimming....just my two cents....Chrissy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
