Guest guest
Awwwww...poor Mike has to go buy SMALLER clothes. I feel so bad for him. Heehee. I bought a pair of smaller pants today too. They're 20's. I can't wait to get into 18s and have a 1 in front of the # instead of a 2 or a 3. LOL! I started out wearing a size 30. Now I'm down to a 20. WOOHOO! I haven't been a 20 since before my daughter was born! 11 years ago! LOL! And I'm in an xl shirt. I'm happy w/ that FOR NOW! All I asked for for Christmas was $$ for clothes. I'm getting a gift card to Kohls, Fashion Bug, and Old Navy. My 3 favorite stores. :-) I bought myself a pair of jeans and a sweater to wear to our Christmas part at work on Wednesday. I absolutely LOVE to shop these days! I just wish I had more $$ to do it with! W 380/259/160 Mike wrote: > I had smashed my knee up Saturday evening. Guest guest
Mike My husband has been very successful in buying clothes via Ebay for a very small amount of money. He has gotten shorts, pants, denim jackets and shirts. He buys mainly new items and has been very pleased when they arrived. good luck. I worked out pretty hard Wednesday and then on Thursday, Friday and this morning even (burning about 1000+ calories cardio and whatever amount weight lifting). My mother, bless her heart, had met me at Costco last Friday and purchased a pair of 42 " waist jeans for me (I had another pair the same size but different shade). Today, after my workout, I decided to weigh myself again. I know I know I preach against weighing too often. Sue me. Anyway, I was down to 269.1 lbs. What the heck? Who loses 6lbs in 3 days when they're 11 months out? Not to mention that I majoraly fell off the wagon last night with our company's Christmas bar outing. I had a " few " glasses of wine, they've got free drinks for 15 minutes half way though the night (you might not be able to drink a lot in that amount of time but you sure can ORDER a lot), and a mess of hot wings. I know bad but I wasn't hung over because I waited for a couple hours before ending the night and I drank a dozen or so waters at the bar. Oh you can drink scotch (though I recommend single malt) and gin too (not the cheap stuff, all they had was sapphire but that's bearable). Now I've got to use 269 or 270 when programming the cardio and will have to work harder or longer to burn the same amount of calories. It's a good thing I was actually doing about 1100 calories which will probably be 1060 or so now. ARGH! Also, I decided to slob out a bit today and not wear a belt. Big mistake they're almost falling off me. Fine maybe they didn't fit last Friday either. I don't know. This really sucks I think I wore these things like once or twice. Oh and Wednesday I tried to wear a pair of slacks that were 46 " because, well, they're the only blue ones I have. Smooth. I could have walked around with another person snuck into my pants. The rest of my slacks are 44 " and probably too big now too. Of course I purchased all of these for only $14 - $20 but it's the principle of the thing! If anyone sees slacks on sale at Walmart, Meijer, Kohl's etc. Let me know. It looks like I'm buying a 40 " now. If I get down to a 38 " I think that was my smallest adult waist. For the ladies out there getting below a 40 " is sort of a big deal for guys, at least I think it is, because normal weight people are all in the 30 inch area like 32, 34, 36, and even 38. Guest guest
Thanks. I had success with ebay too. I'm down to a 2XL or more often an XL so I'm able to buy off the rack usually for much less than ebay and have the advantage of USUALLY being able to try it before I buy it. Getting jeans for $13, slacks and shirts for $20 and t-shirts for anywhere from $2.50 in quantity to $20 for prints is much better than when I was larger buying them for nearly twice that on ebay. I can even wear regular socks and underwear too which cost about 1/4 what the sizes I used to buy were. I also steal clothing from my father now except that his clothing is now getting too big for me. I still have links to larger sizes if anyone needs them but I can't use them now.
