Jackie I don't know anything about those.I know others here have had

them.Maybe someone else could help you.

Hi Jackie!!!!

Congrats on the 56 lbs!! That is awesome!! There is something on the

scope kind of a balloon type thing that will stretch open the

stricture. LOL don't quote me but that is generally how it works.

Hi Jackie!

A post op structure is not uncommon. If you are not vomiting your

food then it will work it's way into your pouch and into your

intestines. It can be painful and deter you from wanting to eat. I

suggest you stick to soft and pureed foods until the issue is

resolved.

The endoscope will expand the area and help eliminate the stricture.

Sometimes they need to repeat the endoscopy.

I had one done in my 15th month post op. I never learned to eat

solid foods for nine months post op and when I began to eat solid

food it was too painful. After my endoscope I was instructed to eat

6 small meals a day to keep the area from tightening up.
