Guest guest
I been very amimic i suffered from migrans for most of my adult life. I did lose weight and that cured my high blood presser and my migrans while still getting them were less. How every about 3 mouths ago i did notice a incuress in my bleeding and my migrans were back again and full frose. I never relly took them into account. But they say one of the sings of aminnia is head acks. So i think being so amimic my migrans were made worst. Last week i had blood transfutions after being so amimic. I stil have my preirod going on 8 days i did not get my normal migran with it.
Guest guest
Are you bleeding heavily at periods? How much so? What are your periods like? You should not have an ablation if you have fibroids. It will not work. The fibroids are probably causing your bleeding although you didn't mention this as a symtom. I think the migraines are a separate issue here. I know that they are hard to control and can be a mystery. Jen
Guest guest
" Are you bleeding heavily at periods? How much so? What are your periods like? " I told the GYN that my periods were 5 to 7 days and 3 days were gushers. I used super tampons and pads changing every hour to 2. He told me that was impossible that I would have to go through 12 to 20 in a day. I was like, YEAH. He didn't believe me. Whatever..... Guest guest
HA!! You must not have a gyn that deals with fibroids on a regular basis. My periods last at least 7 days with at least 2 of them having to change super plus tampons & super pads every 20 - 30 mins. What is it with these drs? Guest guest
Hi Val, You know...I was the same way, I'd get a migraine at least once a week and have to hid in my bathroom from the kids and the hubby. But in the last few months...I haven't had a single one. That's since I joined this and other thyroid groups out of desperation for some decent thyroid advice. I'm so much better off now, and I have lost about 23 pounds in addition to things getting better. The only concern at the moment seems to be my wacky liver....and we ARE preparing ourselves for the eventuality that I may need a transplant. It depends on how bad it is...I have an ultrasound on Tuesday and go for more liver enzyme tests the following week. We'll see I guess. Hugs, Deb :-) Valarie val@...> wrote: I had screaming migraines until I got thyroid treatment. Guest guest
Deb - I'm going to a Naturopath who is helping me detox my liver. I was scheduled for surgery by another doc and the NP advised me to put it off until I'm through with detox and have healed my liver. We attribute the sluggishness of my liver (and therefor the toxicity of it) to being hypo for so long. She said if I don't get the liver squared away then I won't heal well from the surgery. I took her advice and am postponing the surgery until sometime this spring. I can already tell a difference in my digestion/liver since being on her regimen for just over a week. Hope this helps.
