Guest guest
I would like any suggestions on interpreting results. As far as I can tell my 6yo son does not meet counting rules but I am not sure if I'm doing it right. I would like to chelate my son but our dr will only advise using Authia cream. We tried that for 1 week and was too worried after all I have read. Our dr. currently has him on Magnesium 180 mg/day - 1 dose zinc 10 mg/day - 1 dose CLO 1/2 tsp/day - in 2 doses SNT w/P5P 3/4/ tsp/day - in 2 doses DMG w/B12 1/4 tsp/day - 1 dose Endura Guard L-glutamine & PAK 250mg/day 1 dose (1/2 cap per day) 1 probio gold/ day 1 culturelle/ day epsom salt bath at night along with 1 melatonin before bed He is also on Diflucan for yeast. He was on Nystatin for over a year and we were hoping for his gut to heal to start but we recently did an OAT test through Great Plains Lab and dr. said he had high yeast so Nystatin wasn't working. I tried GSE (Source Naturals) at dr's recommendation. She said to start with just 3 drops (not full dropper) 2xs per day and if we saw regression to double it. Does this sound right? Nicky, my son, seems to get very emotional and sensitive while on GSE. Has this happened to anyone else. Anyway, he is not on Diflucan for another few days until we run out and then dr. suggested we rotate. I can't wait anymore and would like to start chelating NOW. Does anyone know what other supp he should be on to help with the process. I have read through index and there's just so much to digest. Please help with any suggestions. My son is 45 lbs 5.10 yo and high functioning. Any method better than other i.e. DMSA alone v. DMSA and ALA? Andy or anyone, dr. has also recently prescribed carnitor 100mg/ml 2 tsps/day Activated B-12 guard 2,000mcg/day Reduced l-glutatione lotion , 1x/day I'm not sure what these are for and was hoping you might help me in understanding what their purpose is. I just would like some idea of area it is adressing since we won't see her again until Nov and she sent these directions in the mail. It is almost impossible to talk to her on the phone Thank you, Z, Nicky's mom
Guest guest
Some of the essentials that I did not see in your list that I give to my 3yo son, 27 lbs: vit E, once a day, 400 IU vit C, 4 times a day, 1 gram per day. zinc, 50 mg, 3 times a day - you could up the zinc, 10mg is low, milk thistle (for his liver) > I can't wait anymore and would like to start chelating NOW. The zippo level of mercury is intriguing however. There should be SOME. So I'd suggest a trial of a few rounds of chelation just to be sure. > I have been reading for almost 2 years and have wasted enough time. You know, from the above it is clear this doctor has absolutely no clue what he is doing. You might as well just do what you think is best if you can't find another doc who has some of this figured out. Try the Mg and Zinc and SNT 3-4 times a day (same amount as above per dose) and see if it works better. > I tried GSE (Source Naturals) at dr's > recommendation. Yes, this at least is right. a dropperfull would sterilize his gut. > Nicky, my son, seems to get very emotional and sensitive > while on GSE. Vitamin C 4 times a day and E daily, lots and lots of zinc and magnesium. > I have read through index and there's just so much to digest. Please > help with any suggestions. If you do see issues you'd like to konw what they are from. Use 10 mg to start (of either). > Andy or anyone, dr. has also recently prescribed carnitor 100mg/ml 2 > tsps/day > Activated B-12 guard 2,000mcg/day > Reduced l-glutatione lotion , 1x/day > I'm not sure what these are for and was hoping you might help me in > understanding what their purpose is. Carnitor, burn fat. B-12, improve methylation which can improve neurology. glutathione, waste money. The doctor thinks it is helping raise glutatione levels. .. Guest guest
> zinc, 50 mg, 3 times a day - you could up the zinc, 10mg is low, Sorry this is not very clear: it is 50 mg total per day, spread into 3 doses.
