I am aware that my dgter has grown a lot these apst few years, she is 31, but some days it is as if she were 5 years old again, whining, raging, mean, hurtful, vengeful, etc. I also know that I could never live with her, that I need time out frequently and that I ahve to ahve huge boundaries around things that I need like my vacation that she never knew I had. She has been asking me to sleep over for a while so last night I went. I really talked to myself and told me to be nice, not to sabotage, to trust as much as I could that it was of pure intent. So I did and I slept really well. Sadly the good feelings lasted about an hour. I told ehr I would not babysit tonight or be on call and she tells me she placed ehr ad. I said why, I said no and she says, what difference does it make. so once again no concept of me, my need for a quiet night, etc. At this point, 4:00 pm we are on hold as perhaps a guy is coming over to ehr palce in which case she now needs me tot ake grand over night, was I asked, NO. So how does this realte to success. I am sharing my frustration. I ahve stayed home this afterneoon and not done everything that she asked. And I am feeling that I am OK in this moment and for today. Dear freinds, the oterh day the 3 R's appeared, they aslo spell part of success. So have a beautiful rest of Sunday, if any of you are in the South I hope you are safe. We are providing support through our church, prayers and financail and please know that Canada is with you as you begin the raod to rebuilding. I am going to try and change this account to another safer address so if I am out of the loop for a couple of days don't worry.
