I order the pasta fagioli soup and bring it home. I like the chicken or seafood alfredo. I bring what I don't eat home and my husband eats it. He loves leftovers. Guest guest
I have not eaten at olive garden in years , but I looked at the menu on-line and I didn't see anything that was good for me. I think I would go with some kind of soup if it were me. All of the dishes are loaded in butter. GOOD LUCK! ~

Guest guest
Thanks for all the help. Lin not sure what you had to say as it did not come through, I was wondering about an angel hair with marinaria sauce. I'm only able to eat a few forks full or the soup as was suggested Have a Blessed Day Joy --------------------------------- Everyone is raving about the all-new Yahoo! Mail beta. Guest guest
Joy, I would stay away from pasta. I'm 2 years + out and still CAN NOT do pasta....or red sauce . The red sauce is usually to acidic for me. Be VERY careful! & Enjoy Your Lunch! ~ > > Thanks for all the help. Guest guest
Gee the Minestrone looked good. There was another similar soup with ground beef.... Someone in support group actually suggested to eat soup with a fork that way you remember to chew. Sometimes soup we just " drink " it and forget to chew. Just an idea. I think all new foods would be a test.... Jackie in CA. joy elliott blessed4431@...> wrote: Thanks for all the help. Guest guest
I had the chicken marsala. The chicken was very tender plus it had mushrooms, cheese and wasn't too spicy. It also came with garlic mashed potatoes. See if you can get a half order cause I only ate about 1/4 of the full order. I also skipped the bread and had a small amount of salad. I should have skipped the salad too and ordered a cup of soup. Good luck Sue > > I have to go to a lunch meeting tomorrow I'm about three months out. Guest guest
I don't think the stuffing in the stuffed mushrooms would be very good with the bread crumbs in there. Mushrooms are DELICIOUS especially stuffed though. But try to resist. Why not have the Garlic-Herb Chicken, the Chicken Giardino or the Chicken Scampi? Ask to have more chicken or veggies instead of noodles. Mike in GR > > I have to go to a lunch meeting tomorrow I'm about three months out. Guest guest
I was told by my surgeon's office that soups were not good after three months because they're essentially caloric liquids which would not fill us up. Chili and " thick " soups are the exception of course. I still don't like soups because of the extreme sodium. Why not have the Garlic-Herb Chicken, the Chicken Giardino or the Chicken Scampi? Ask to have more chicken or veggies instead of noodles. Those look okay. Guest guest
The pasta fagioli would be good. It's an italian chili. Guest guest
I have to agree with you about soup. You have to eat a little more of them to half way get filled up if they are not thick ones and I can see why your surgeon recommended you to stay away from them. Lin Lhsh@...
