You shoudl have heard me on the phone this morning, trying to discuss my situation with the nurse for the internist I'm seeing tomorrow -- I could barely remember what I was going for! Yesterday's a blur. Last week feels like last year. My memory isn't bad across the board -- it's tricky instead. I'll remember something from two weeks ago very clearly, and yet get to the store where I went to buy two things and for the life of me not be able to remember. I have holes in my memory. They're like black holes, selectively sucking up not ALL of my memories, just SOME of them. Random. You can call it fibro-fog, you can call it Ishmael, but it's MADDENING sometimes. I leave myself notes all over the place, but sometimes it's so bad I dont' even know why I wrote the note or what it applies to! I'll look and say, Hmm, 2:00 tomorrow, wonder what that is.
