I had a very rough night last night, so I may not be quite coherent...

But I wanted to thank everyone who responded to my query. The URLs were

very helpful & I think I have a better grip on what's going on, so that I

can ask more questions of my doctor the next time I see him.

Laurie(?) posted: «I have 12 facet injections anywhere from every month to

every 3 months. They've been doing this procedure on me for years so I

don't have to use the xray machine to do mine.»

My question here is this: are you talking about the facet injections where

they use local anesthetic on the nerves or are you talking about having the

nerves heated by way of radio frequency? Maybe I've just got fibro fog this

morning, but I'm unclear about that.

The reason that I'm a little confused is that my doctor told me that the

facets were simply diagnostic tools, which would tell whether I was a

candidate for pain relief through the radio frequency treatments.
