I have been having questions about pregnancy after WLS. I know my surgeon told me this at one time, but I honestly don't remember what he said...How long are we supposed to wait after WLS before we TTC? I had an open, proximal RNY on Jan. 28, 2003. I have lost 110-115lbs since then. I know I still have plenty of weight to lose....but am thinking about pregnancy. I do plan to have the tummy tuck and all that reconstructive stuff done, but need to pretty much be through having babies when I finally do it. Anyone have any advice? No worries....I'm NOT going to try to get pregnant now. I'm thinking my husband would have a heart attack. lol He's not quite ready for a newborn yet...as we have a daughter who is 19 months old. =) Anyway...thanks in advance for any advice or tips.
