In general it's very effective, and a lot safer than doubling or tripling one's dosage of a prescription drug and adding an OTC sleep aid on top of it. I know that there are times we are all desperate to get some healing sleep, but I would be very wary of playing around with drugs, especially if one is combining them. At the very least, check with a pharmacist, who probably knows more about medications than a doctor does. My mom worked for years in a pharmacy and she never hesitated to call a doctor and say " So-and-so is taking X and now you've prescribed Y but these drugs should not be taken together. " Diane, very cautious about medication
Guest guest
, Are you seeing a doctor? Your Primary care or a rheumotologist? I would di that first thing. They need to examine you and then decide what medications you need. You will need medications. Especially for pain. Often these pain medications help you to sleep or you possibly need a different antidepressant. Different medications work different for different people. Yours might not be the right one for you. See your doctor and check with him about what you might do. You might need to see a Therapist. Take care, Irene Books may well be the only true magic Alice Hoffman
