Good news . The creat is elevated, but not high. Hopefully, it won't change any in 6 months. Good thing you went. Now you know you did what you needed. Six months will be enough time to see should anything else start happening. In the meantime if you have any other blood test, always ask what your creatinine is, that way you can keep track on what it is doing.

NEPHROLOGIST REPORT/ GOOD

I am pleased to report that the 24hr. Urine catch showed a much better result than the blood test from my Primary Care Doctor!!

My creatinine level is 1.6.........myBUN is 30......with (trace) Protein .......glucose (negative)....occult blood (negative).......sed rate is 1mm.hr.......ANA is negative. My blood pressure is 140/70.

DR. Said I'm doing fine ......and wants to do another lab. and see me in his office again in 6 months......He said my Lupus is not active at the moment, and gave me a script for some 1mg. tablets of prednisone so I can cut down more slowly.....If I have to I'll cut down 1 mg. a month till I can get off this stuff...

Now I just gotta go buy myself a NEW HAT to celebrate!
