I had my 6 week follow-up visit yesterday -- with a local ortho doc (as opposed

to Dr Gross) because of travel expenses. Anyway, it seems that I'm doing just

fine. But the " stamp of approval " must come from Dr Gross, once he sees the

X-rays.

After reading about my incision site's itching and redness maybe being caused by

a mild allergic reaction to the buried sutures, I tried rubbing in Benadryl

cream. And it seems to take care of the problem! The local ortho looked at the

incision site and pronounced it fine and free of infection. RELIEF....
