Guest guest
I always have hives or itchy blisters somewhere on my body. I have tried steroid creams, even strong prescription creams. I have extremely thin skin on my arms from that cream. I itched and scratched even in my sleep and my sheets were bloody. My shirts got bloody too. I went nuts. Finally another Dr. said to get Sarna. It is usually behind the counter in the pharmacy. It blends into the skin and dries quickly. It stinks though but I put it on day and night wherever the current problem is. My arms finally cleared up and I am scared all over. It took a long time for the arm thing stopped. I have a rash on the small of my back now and on one upper arm. I put it on and later put on sunscreen to go out. I don’t know if that nullifies the Sarna though. From: Jerri Sent: Monday, May 17, 2004 10:36 AM To: LUPIES Subject: Barb I feel for you!! I fought the itchy monster for 10 months straight with hives!! Here are some things to try. Stay out of hot water - makes it worse. Take cool baths. Oatmeal works sometimes. Definitely do the Benedryl - my dear pink friend during those 10 months! Wear loose fitting cool clothing..
