I live in Southern California, Orange County, City of Yorba . I have not been skin tested (mostly for your reasons too) but it is obvious that I fall into the Hypermobile category. You are not alone with multiple diagnosis! I am the proud owner of the following diagnoses: Degenerative Disc Disease Dysautonomia Fibromyalgia IBS Lack of Proprioception Migraine Headaches Raynaud’s Syndrome / Cold Intolerance Reflux Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy / Complex Regional Pain Syndrome Scoliosis Sleep Disturbance and Insomnia TMJ But.... I do NOT have heart issues thank the Lord! I was diagnosed in 2002 when I was 45. It was nice to finally have a diagnosis to all the trip, fall, tear and surgery since the age of 5. Getting sort of sick of " klutz " as a middle name! HA! LOL! LOL! I am recently divorced, my home church is an extension of my family as is the CEDA list which I am eternally grateful. The list has helped me tremendously during this past year from hell. I will be going to the conference again this year. I went 2 years ago and it was one of the best things I have ever done for myself. It was like stepping into a fantasy where " everyone knows your name " . I have never felt so connected to, understood and welcome, ever! I would recommend it if you have never gone. This year in particular seem to be evolving into quite a happening! You all are so busy posting here I can't even begin to keep up! (besides I'm on a dial-up connection and it takes forever to load the pages!) Yes, my plate is full, but not any more so than most people. I homeschool the girls - which although time consuming - is relatively easy. Debbi - I agree about the relief in finally understanding why I had all these problems - and know that I know the underlying cause I feel I can do something. Knowledge is Power! The convention looks very inviting, however, doesn't look like I'll be able to make it this year - runs into previously laid plans. Be seeing you all ....
