Guest guest
That is such a good idea. I will be working on a letter to Kennedy today. If you want to do something cool e-mail Ted Kennedy and tell him if Kerry wants the votes of umpteen thousand parents of autistic/vaccine-injured children, adults, servicemen and servicewomen he needs to step up to the plate and make a clear statement that all of us can understand and it needs to be in support of our fight for justice and compensation. Be sure to point out that outside of the immediate family there are usually two extended families (grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, sisters, brothers, etc.)that are also sympathetic to the fight for compensation and desire to elect a President that will open his eyes and unplug his ears. He can choose the time and the spot and even the spokesman, but it needs to be very loud and very clear that he is for us, and it needs to be sooner than later because it takes time to get the word out to our families and friends. Maybe at the DAN! conference in April. The Kennedy e-mail idea is to create quite an immediate massive impact that will bring notice. I suggest Ted because during this last OB/GYN thing he was superb in our defense. I watched most of C-Span's coverage and I can tell that Kennedy has a bad taste in his mouth over this vaccine issue. As with the other idea it's more impressive for everyone to do this in a single day. Can we expect Kennedy's mailbox to fill up pretty quick? Should we have a back-up plan? Is it better to send them eastern time or at the same hour your time to possibly create a wave effect? We need to show that the demographics people who consider us to be an insignificant minority haven't fully considered that we have a sizable bloc of votes. Do not spam Senator Kennedy, but legitimately send one for each voting member of the family and for any friends that will pledge like-wise. Set a date that accounts in advance for the word to spread to other boards, etc. Call it Operation Frying Pan. Be sure to use Senator Kennedy's contact page located at :http://kennedy.senate.gov/contact.html The one on the front of his web site bounces. =======================================================

Guest guest
So what's the word Jo? Can we create a little leverage on Kerry through Kennedy? I think we can, but let's make an impact. Date, time? Re: [ ] Re: Wise up people In a message dated 3/23/2004 10:45:18 AM Eastern Standard Time, fatwally10@... writes: Why Kennedy? He is not running.
