Guest guest
Matt, that's great! Wow, the system worked; that's encouraging! I got some encouraging news today also. Remember I lost my COBRA back in Dec. because I forgot my payment until too late. Two people at the insurance co. told me that it was federal law that I couldn't go past the grace period. I actually believed them, but was wading through the COBRA website last week & read some stuff that sounded different than that. So I left a message for one of the benefits advisors to call me, which he did today. Guess what? They lied. He said federal law only has minimum requirements, but that individual companies can be as generous or flexible as they want. Rather than mess with you or admit that they are heartless, they just blame it on the federal government. So I have been trying to find out who at COBRA to write an appeal letter, when I need to write it to my former employer. They can still turn me down, if they won't make exceptions, but they won't be able to blame the feds. Now I just have to get the letter written. If anyone wants to badger me for a few days until I get it done, I will be very grateful. Guest guest
eye doc today -said pressure was down to 17=also found out that i got put on medicare last month-have my ssdi hearing next monday so I am feeling pretty good about getting on it-Matt Matt, this is excellant, both the eye pressure and the ssdi. Good things are happening for you! I'm sure you'll not have a problem with the SSDI. Now, read up on the Medicare Part D. It is going to be most important to those who don't have prescription drug coverage, and may very well be better than some of the plans we do have. Congrats, Tracie
Guest guest
Good luck Matt, I know that I didn't get mine approved until I had a hearing. They will listen more to you. Just remember to focus on, what you "can't" do, and not what you can do. Good luck. Guest guest
Hi Matt, I have skin Sarc, but never as you described. Mine start out looking like a blister, a flat blister, and the top peels off there and they are very red, and painful then, the pain goes deep. On my face I think I'm getting a pimple, but then it just stays red and sore, and eventually will just get hard, like the other ones, they get hard and I get to keep a hard nodule forever. Your's sounds like maybe a bacteria is involved, My mind is not grasping what my memory wants to say, I bet Tracie or Rose can come up with my thought, anyway, I think you should have someone look at it? Blessings, Marla I was wondering if anyone has skin involmet with there sarc- I woke up today to having these pimple type sores all over my right arm- they are real red and have puss in them- is this a sign of skin involment- if snyone knows i would appreciate any help they can give me- Matt ~~~~ *** ~~~ *** ~~~ *** ~~~~ The Neurosarcoidosis Community NS CHAT:- Has been cancelled for now. Guest guest
I am curious about the skin sarc. I had a spot on my arm near the elbow that got very large like I was growing a nipple there & then it started leaking pus. The pharmacist thought it looked like a spider bite. I am afraid everytime I hear of another form of sarc I'll freak & assume it's sarc even if it isn't. I had one by my knee also that I assumed was an infected hair. There are so many forms it's confusing. grannylunatic@... __________________________________________________
