Guest guest Posted June 21, 2004 Report Share Posted June 21, 2004 It went very well. I was impressed with Dr. Frick. He was very nice, thorough and gentle with Kaitlin. He said that she had lost some correction and that he could not manually manipulate her foot into the corrected position today. He could get it into the neutral position. He said that possibly after 2 casts he would be able to fully correct it again. He also said that a tenotomy cannot be ruled out at this point. He put a cast on her and was unsure about further brace types. He said we will talk more about that next Wed. He took pics of her feet too. The receptionist was still unkind when I called to tell her that we were coming. I finally had to ask her, if she runs the office or Dr. Frick? She changed her tone after that. I told him that " from Raleigh said hi, " He smiled really big and said, " Mrs. Knolfo is nice. " Thanks again for all of the encouragement. The brace shop is considering not making me pay any more than I have for the AFO, but they won't let me know until Friday.
